     Isha Koppikar is tall, beautiful and talented girl who turned her walk-on role towards seeing again experience. She is  presently a Bollywood Actress and a model who was born on 19^th September, 1976 in Mumbai, INDIA. She has completed her graduation  from the Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai. She has studied Life Sciences. When she was in the college she also did a model photo shoot for Mr. Gautam Rajadhyaksha. She had started her glamour career with modelling and achieved success from many advertising company.

Isha Koppikar had been modeled for bigger names company such as Deepam sarees, Ponds, Camay, Rexona, Synergy, Coke, L'Oreal, Tips & Toes and Coca-Cola.  She has also done five to six ramp shows. In the year 1995, Isha’s flim career was started when she won the title of “Miss Talent Crown” in “Miss India Contest”. Her first film was in Tamil named “EN SWASA KATRE” opposite one of the most successful actor who was at the peak of his fame “Mr. Arvind Swamy”. She received positve reveiws for her role and was expected to be a big hit in the south. She had also started pursuing her career in Bollywood and debuted her first film in bollywood  in the year 1997 named “EK THA DIL EK THI DHADKAN” which was directed by Shah Rukh Sultan. But unfortunately this film had not shown the light of day to Isha except starred her in minor roles in the bollywood and she had to return back in south where she realesed her second film with the Tamil superstar ‘Prashant’. She than managed and completed her ten films in the south by working with all south Indian Languages except ‘Malayalam’.

In the year 2000-01 her Performance in Tamil film ‘KAATHAL KAVITHAI’ fetched her towards ‘Flimfare Award’ for the “Best New Comer” in the South. Though she was working in South but her heart was making a set of name for herself in Mumbai. In the year 2000 the film  “FIZA”and In the year 2001 the film “PYAAR, ISHQ AUR MOHABBAT” has given her minor roles. But the year 2002 was very lucky for her and made her star of Indian Bollywood. She was recognized by ‘Ram Gopal Varma’ who starred her in his film as an “Item Girl” in the song ‘Khallas’. Her nickname ‘Khallas – girl’ was created by this film only and gave a big break to Isha. In the same year she had also played a positive role opposite the Idol Actress of Bollywood ‘Aishwarya Rai’ and Charming Actor of Bollywood ‘Arjun Rampal’. She had also played a negative role with ‘Sanjay Suri’ and ‘Arbaaz Khan’ opposite ‘Ajay Devgan’ ‘Neha Dhupia’ and many more.

She had also received a ‘Filmfare Award’ nomination for “Best Villain”. In the year 2004 she had played a role in the film named “GIRLFRIEND” where a woman is involved in a lesbian relationship. In the same year she works again with ‘Ram Gopal Varma’s’ in his prequel film “COMPANY”. Isha’s performance in ‘COMPANY’ was mezmerised and the movie was go-ers. Recently, Isha had played a role of ‘Arshad Warsi’s’ Girlfriend with the starred ‘Salman Khan’ in the film name “MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA ?”. In the year 2006 she is going to be pursue in ‘Farhan Akhtar’s’ film named “DON” opposite the king of bollywood ‘Shah Rukh Khan’ and also being feature as the female lead in ‘Ram Gopal Varma’s’ film named “SHABRI” where she is going to play role of a woman who is set to become Mumbai’s first underworld lord.
